The Craftsmanship

Behind Every Blake DeBock Fine Art Print

Every Blake DeBock Fine Art Print is made to stand the test of time — not just in materials, but in meaning. Using archival papers, museum-grade acrylic, and precision mounting, each piece is crafted to live not only in a space, but in a legacy.

While many artists outsource their work, Blake oversees every step of production — from capture in the field to the final frame — ensuring each print remains a true extension of the vision that inspired it.

“It’s about more than the image,” Blake says.
“It’s about making you feel what it was like to be there — when the herd stampeded, when the sea lit up, when silence hit the mountains.”

And while cutting-edge tools matter — high-resolution sensors, elite lenses, and lab partnerships — the real magic will always live in the artist’s eye.

Fuji Crystal Archive Paper

Blake’s Fine Art Prints are produced on the highest quality Fuji Crystal Archive, a silver halide paper known for its brilliance, longevity, and unmistakable glow. Unlike standard inkjet or giclée prints, these are developed using light — not ink — creating a finish that feels almost backlit when viewed in person.

In the home, the effect is stunning. The print doesn’t just hang on the wall — it radiates. It becomes a focal point, softly glowing with dimensionality and life. This paper brings out the soul of each image and elevates the room around it. With an archival rating of over 125 years, it’s not only built to last — it’s built to live beautifully.

Acrylic Mounted to Perfection

To finish each piece, Blake’s prints are face-mounted to an optically perfect acrylic — a crystal-clear surface that amplifies the depth, clarity, and glow of the image. This isn’t standard acrylic. It’s engineered to be distortion-free, flawless to the eye, and incredibly durable, creating a smooth, almost wet looking, glass-like finish that feels luxurious and modern.

The result is a visual experience with near-holographic depth. The image appears to float within the acrylic, taking on a presence that changes the room. It doesn’t just enhance the photograph — it completes it, turning the moment Blake captured in the wild into a permanent, light-reactive work of art.

Handmade Italian Frames

Each frame is handcrafted in Italy using sustainably sourced olive wood and other fine hardwoods, selected for their natural character and richness. Finished by artisans with decades of experience, these mouldings add a timeless elegance and weight to the work — pairing modern presentation with old-world craftsmanship. No expense is spared in this level of finishing, with each frame featuring an oversized 5-inch linen liner for the most dramatic and luxurious presentation possible.

Limited Edition

Every Blake DeBock Limited Edition is protected by a multi-layered system designed to preserve the integrity, exclusivity, and authenticity of the work. Once an edition is complete, it is closed forever — no reprints, no second runs.

Each piece is signed and numbered by Blake on the face of the print, and includes a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. A corresponding record of the edition and collector is logged and stored internally, allowing us to verify provenance and protect collectors for years to come.

Blake’s editions are among the most limited in the field — typically just 95 pieces plus 5 Artist Proofs per image. The low edition counts, signature process, and archival quality materials ensure that each work is not only visually powerful, but investment-grade in both rarity and production.

This commitment to integrity is part of every decision — from how the work is printed and framed to how it’s documented and delivered.

Artist Proofs

Typically reserved for Blake’s personal archive and select gallery exhibitions, Artist Proofs are the rarest prints available — created in editions of just 5 per image. Often slightly varied in size or tonality, these pieces represent a deeper layer of the creative process.

A.P.s are offered exclusively and discreetly to collectors on a case-by-case basis. Their scarcity and personal connection to the artist make them among the most desirable acquisitions in Blake’s entire body of work.

Delivered With Intention

Each fine art piece is handled with museum-level care and shipped in custom crates or double-reinforced packaging. Domestic and international deliveries are fully insured and white-glove options are available upon request. For collectors in Mammoth Lakes and select Southern California regions, complimentary installation is offered as part of Blake’s commitment to full-service presentation.
