FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER
Blake DeBock
Blake DeBock is known for photographing the world’s most beautiful landscapes and elusive wildlife through extensive time in the field. Raised in California, he grew up backpacking and skiing in the Sierra Nevada, developing an early connection to wild, mountainous terrain. Shaped by years spent living out of trucks, tents, and remote camps, his work reflects deep respect for wild places and the animals that inhabit them. His work is widely collected and has generated millions in print sales.
2014
Begins assisting master surf photographer Aaron Chang, gaining firsthand experience in fine art production, discipline, and large-scale photographic work.
2016–2021
Undertakes extended solo expeditions throughout Patagonia and the Americas, spending months at a time photographing remote landscapes and wildlife. These years shape his approach to scale, patience, and field-based photography.
2022
Opens his first gallery in Mammoth Lakes, California, unveiling God’s Country, which sells through most of its limited edition within the first year.
2023

2023–Present
Adopts mustangs from the American West, incorporating horsemanship into both his life and creative process while continuing to produce large-scale, limited edition fine art photography.
